What did we do for them?
Since the first Movement Control Order (MCO) and the public being more present in their homes, the client approached us to help promote some of their services such as; 4G Fibre, Maxis TV, RM1 phone deal, Wifi 6 Router and rewards for the customers / users.
Using short comedic videos with a simple message, solving household internet problems - running out of data or low bandwidth due to the amount of users or not having access to locally made content or even all of them.
The short, easily consumable content made it easier to promote / boost on social platforms without compromising details. In addition, we also made several sponsored videos on the in-house brand channel, TheMingThing. These videos were hosted mainly on Instagram and one YouTube video (Maxis 4G Fibre x Samsung TV). These were more casual videos covering tidier cable set up, how to improve internet connectivity and answering some FAQs.
Similar to Hotlink, we created social media assets for them to promote the free or discounted rewards they have available for their users. Incorporating lifestyle with studio shot photos to create some diversity for their feed.
